From Your Garden to Your Table is a grassroots education project that empowers families to grow, raise, and cook their own food. We believe food access, sustainability, and community education go hand-in-hand — and it all starts right here.
To open our gates by April 2026, we need to raise $175,000 by January 1, 2026 to fund critical startup costs:
- Lease or purchase 2+ acres of land
- Build fencing, raised beds, greenhouses, and animal shelters
- Bring in starter animals (chickens, ducks, goats, quail, fish)
- Set up our outdoor classroom and kitchen (Health Dept. approved)
- Install gardens, ponds, and grow spaces for the public
- Launch our volunteer barter system & community food access programs
- 🐐 Animal care stations (goats, chickens, ducks, fish)
- 🌿 School gardens & family grow plots
- 🔨 Volunteer time-trade program infrastructure
- 🧑🍳 Mobile teaching kitchens (indoor & outdoor)
- 🏡 Farm classroom for kids, seniors & families
- 🚜 Youth job training and workshops
- 🥖 Weekly meal delivery to low-income seniors in food deserts
- 2026: Launch infrastructure & begin serving families
- 2027: Add community grow plots, expand school trips
- 2028: Reach breakeven, scale programs & create 15–20 jobs/year
